Silver Creek adds kindergarten

A spike in kindergarten enrollment led the Silver Creek School District to add a sixth section for new students.

During the regular meeting of the Board of Education on Wednesday, board members gave retroactive approval to hire a new teacher. Enrollment was 15 students more than predicted for kindergarten. The total enrollment for that grade is 100 students.
