AMERICAN Idol runner-up Adam Lambert popped into my office this week. We talked Gaga, Madonna and how the gay rising star coped with US uproar over his saucy performance at the American Music Awards.

"Madonna Oris Watches did worse on stage how many years ago. She made me appreciate raw sexuality in performance. There are so many people in the States so ashamed and fearful of sexuality. I don't get it."
