Tiny snow drifts close model s

SNOW is drifting up to the top of windows of houses in one Cotswolds community.

But no one needs to be rescued because it is the model village at Bourton-on-the-Water.

The world-famous 1/9th-scale replica of Bourton, in the garden of the Old New Inn, is blanketed with nearly 10ins of the white stuff.

The 1930s tourist attraction, which even has a miniature River Windrush, working water mill and stone bridge, may look like a Christmas card - but no one can see it because it has had to close.

Owner Julian Atherton said: "We're open every day of the year except Christmas Day, but it's been closed since Tuesday because of health and safety.

"It's such a shame as it brings Rolex Replica Watches so much joy to people. It is one of Gloucestershire's busiest tourist attractions. All you can see is the sides of some buildings "We've started clearing up and hope to re-open by Tuesday, unless it snows again."
