Norton claimed an unlikely win over table-topping Clevedon at Withies Lane on Saturday.
Women's pumpsAfter claiming their first win of the season at Brislington the previous weekend, Norton impressed with bat and ball to see off the visitors with five wickets to spare.
Skipper Nick Potter won the toss and elected to bowl first on a track which looked like it would give some help to the bowlers.
Andy Cox opened the bowling, restored to the team following injury, with Potter trusting himself with the new ball from the other end and he got the early breakthrough, removing opposing skipper Bachelor for one.
Cox was providing the control which the attack was missing from the previous week and he had overseas player Dickson caught behind for five as Clevedon were reduced to 32-2 in the seventh over.
Cox was bowling well Tory burch flats when again his back gave way and he was forced to retire from the game, meaning Norton were once more pushed on to the back foot.
Former Gloucestershire player Tim Hancock and M Carter took the score to 81 before Hampshire produced a superb ball to catch the edge of Hancock's bat and Norton realised this was a crucial moment to be seized upon.
Nick Pang was offering control from one end and, with Hampshire finding conditions to his liking, Clevedon slumped to 108-5 in the 26th over.
Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals as Clevedon ended on 196-9, the returning Jason Maule claiming 2-17 and Hampshire 4- 51.
In reply, openers Nick Cox and Dean Clifton were looking to calm the nerves but with Cox top edging the first ball of the innings for six and with a boundary in the following over, the watching crowd were thinking all runs were to come easily.
Nick Cox was bowled in the fourth over and Martin Cox joined Dean, taking the score to 84 in the 22nd over before Clifton was caught attempting to lift the bowler over the off-side field.
Jason Maule joined Cox and they added 34, Maule eventually being bowled by off-spinner Quick.
Nick Potter and Cox added 47 and then, with 32 runs required, Cox - as last week - got himself out in sight of the victory line for a classy 64.
Manolo blahnik shoesWith Nerves jangling Pang entered the fray and, after taking a few balls to find his range, he deposited the returning Jeffries to the boundary twice in the 46th over and victory was all but sealed.
Potter fell an over later but Pang saw the team to 197, claiming victory and 19 points in the process.
Norton remain in the relegation zone but have claimed two wins in a row ahead of Saturday's match against Lansdown.
